holger flinsch from frankfurt (.de) is one of the rare artists which musical productions range between deepest ambient music and clubtechno. and yet he walks the genres with highest precision.

well known for his elektrolux/mikrolux release "regayov"
and for his various releases on labels like basalt, choke, eruptive, konfekt, phono elements, thinner and tongut.
his longplayers "collapsing new people" on punkt musik, and "der zehnte juli" on choke remain unforgettable. our pleasure to present his second netaudio release on this important date.

for realaudio.ch holger flinsch goes into static spheres reminding at the sound subtleness of a pete namlook, with beats and clicks vladislav delay and plastikman would certainly give a second listen.

"organon" consists of five tracks recorded in autumn 2003 at "the exile chamber" and "the underdoor" studios, musically glued into a story by the artist himself.
warm ambient at its best..

reviews:

Subject: Organon is delicious...
There are a bunch of great drones in here evoking different atmospheres and moods, depending on where your mind goes when it goes on vacation...

The second one reminds me of deep alien caves, with deep black pools and magenta living corals...

The fourth or so is the sound of being in a dark room in an English manor house on a rainy Sunday in a dark situation...someone is pacing back and forth upstairs...

Anyway, I dig this deep mediative, imaginative ambience. Give it a try, maybe you will too.

Subject: Organon = An Instrument for acquiring knowledge.
This is a very enjoyable ambient/techo release consisting of five individual pieces thoughtfully joined into one. The tracks flip-flop between lush, warm ambience and clicky, rhythmic techno. Just when the ambience is lulling you into deep relaxation you'll be gently
coaxed back by the rich techno rhythms. Download and listen to 'learn' more.
